Mahogany Shaving Bowl

Ceramic shaving bowl entirely handmade on the potter's wheel from red clay and glazed with enamel in shades of burgundy and glossy mahogany. The exterior is decorated with vertical incisions that lighten its shape and offer a secure grip, while the interior features concentric spirals that facilitate lathering of shaving soap. It measures approximately 14x4.5 cm, capacious and stable on the surface.

Designed for traditional wet shaving with a brush, it is compatible with soap pucks and shaving creams in stick or disk form. The wide shape and rounded edge allow for easy brush work to obtain a dense and creamy lather.

The artisanal craftsmanship makes each piece unique: the nuances of the glaze and the incisions vary slightly from one example to another, making each bowl a unique piece. Small surface imperfections are part of the nature of the piece and attest to its handmade origin.

Not suitable for microwave. Hand washable or dishwasher safe with caution, preferably at low temperatures.
